Enjoy a motor racing experience with a twist. Use your skill, co-ordination and nerve to take part in the exhilarating challenge of dumper racing.
You will take the controls of a specially modified digger, perfectly designed for racing. An instructor will be on hand to run through the controls of these fascinating vehicles, and then it’s time to take to the circuit. Your group will be split, with competitors racing over two heats. Not only will you be competing against your fellow drivers, but also against the clock as you look to secure a qualifying time quick enough to make the final.
The winner of the grand finale race will be crowned the champion, and all racers will receive a special commemorative certificate as a reminder of a fantastic experience and an awesome memory.
This experience is available typically on the last Saturday evening of the month, April to September.
Your experience will last for approximately 2 hours.
There will be up to 24 other people in your group.
You're welcome to bring 1 person to watch free of charge.
The minimum age for this experience is 17 years old.
If you suffer from epilepsy or any other medical condition which prohibits driving then you will not be able to take part.
This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

Disappointed! Not dumpers at all and out of a 2hr 30min session your actually in the driving seat about 20 mins !!

I was bought this as a gift from my son , I booked the date for the experience and was looking forward to it, unfortunately I was poorly on the day and could not attend the event. I visited the site to see who I needed to inform but alas a recorded message on the phone saying to email , I went onto the site explaining why I was unable to attend the experience and hoping to rearrange another date , this was on the 27th of May and I am awaiting a reply ,

The experience was great however there was such a large group so there was a lot of standing around. The staff at diggerland were exceptional though. We found booking the experience challenging... dates hadn't been released then there was not much choice at all until the vouchers started expiring!

I brought this day out for my husband and Four sons to have a Boys day out , ended taking more family in fact 12 of us. Ages ranging from 1 to 57 , we had a great time in the park and in the evening watch the guys dumper truck racing , a day to remember would really recommend x

Got two tickets as a present and was quite excited as the pictures on the website made it look great - after a long journey to get there we were met by a lovely team of people and asked to wait in a briefing room for the pre race talk ..... this is where it started to go downhill ...we waited, and waited for people who didn't turn up even though it'd said they would start promptly so don't be late!! Eventually we were taken to the "race track" - I was imagining a long track with twists and turns, dips into water with a few obstacles here and there and a nice viewing platform but what we got was a square scrubby back area with 4 tyres we had to weave around and an area with picnic tables and a hut in to watch from .... a tad dissapointing to say the least! There were 21 of us to race on that night and only 3 dumper trucks so it was already going to be a long night but when 1 broke down the night got longer .... the guys did their best and realising that we'd be there til midnight decided to upgrade us to JCB's - another wait to get them .... Hooray! Here they were at last (it's now getting dark) only to find one had a puncture and had to be taken away .... back to two again ... sigh ... eventually we had 3 going but by now I'd lost the will to live as it was dark and I was cold and hungry (only crisps and biscuits in the hut ..) The guys who took us were battling that night to make it a good experience for us all but with a substandard setting and ill maintained equipment it was a battle doomed for failure - it could be so much better if someone just thought about it!

In regards to the dumper trucks, I do apologise that there were not enough to facilitate all the guests, meaning there was a long wait.
